5 Simple Ways Your Business Can Serve Its Higher Purpose

If there is anything I’m most passionate it’s the fact that you can build a business for good and for profit. You can glorify God, serve others, and earn more money than you can ever spend (so you can give it away instead).

But building a business for good and for profit means you have to change the way you see business. It means you have to remove any wrong thinking you have about profit. It means you have the real reason God’s given you your entrepreneurial gifts in the first place.

In this episode you’ll learn what God really thinks about business, what that means for you, and five simply ways your business can serve it’s higher purpose – no matter what kind of business you have.  Listen in now!

Your pod-cast was very encouraging; it was good to hear this from a fellow female Christian entrepreneur. Showing love and kindness to your competitors/vendors is a form of witnessing to them I’ve come to realise. Some, respond badly, while others embrace it and find it unique.

Initially, I would get upset when they reacted badly, but now I interpret their reactions as the holy spirit doing what He does best….touching their hearts. As the bible says (paraphrased), ……a kind word…is like pouring hot coal!

I’m glad you found it to be a source of encouragement, Gospel. That is my aim, and I appreciate your encouragement. And you are so spot on about our reactions. We always win with kindness…even if it doesn’t feel like it. ;)

I love your approach to the marketplace here as a way of God working in the world. It’s a way of subduing the earth and glorifying God through imitation of his workings. I had never thought about your perspectives on creating wealth – that is something that only the marketplace can do.

And another thing I loved was how you mentioned loving our vendors and not just our customers. That’s something that I try to do and it has made a huge difference.
