I can understand his struggle with marketing. But as someone who is in public relations, I just look at it as putting a positive spin on the truth. It’s not that I’m hiding anything – I’m just pointing out the benefits. I honestly believe in the product or service and want to showcase the great things about it.
I love the way you frame it as communication.
Loren PinilisWhy God is OK with You Finding What Works for You
Hi Loren, love that expression “a positive spin on the truth”. That’s a great way to look at it. Be Blessed.
Loren! You are so spot on. I agree with Amos, that expression is brilliant. Part of the key is really offering something you can believe in. Something that is in alignment with your own personal integrity. Thanks for your insight!
I really enjoyed this interview. I never thought of outwardly combining faith with entrepreneurship, but it makes so much sense. Lately, I have been in an identity direction with my blog and have been praying for a clear path to be revealed. I feel like the topics I am called to write about the topics that I am writing about, but it has been such a struggle getting traction. This interview couldn’t have come at a better time.
Thank you.
Lisa H.How to Get More Hours in the Day, or at Least Feel Like It
Hi Lisa, I am glad our discussion today was helpful to you. I had the same struggle with my blog. Since I am writing about Christian Entrepreneurship, I found that it was hard to get traffic from Google because very few people were searching for that search term. Therefore, I had to rely on social media to drive traffic to my website. In particular, I started using facebook ads to drive people to my fanpage, and then move traffic over to my website. Have a blessed day.
I’m so glad, Lisa. The deeper you dig into faith and entrepreneurship the more connected you will find they are. When you find the exact place you’re called to, you’ll also find the traction you’re hoping for!
Hi Marlee, I enjoyed talking with you. Thanks for having me on your podcast.
Thanks for sharing your time and wisdom, Amos.
